Speed Racer: The Mach 5

Here goes the first official image from The Wachowski’s Speed Racer flick. It’s of the iconic Mach 5, and it looks to be very true to form. The Wachowski’s did a great job on the script of V for Vendetta and stayed pretty faithful to the source material, so my hopes are high. Throw The Wachowski’s flare for visual effects, Christina Ricci as Trixie, Matthew Fox as Racer X, Emile Hirsch as Speed, John Goodman as Pops Racer and a real Chimp as Chim Chim I’m all in.
