I’ll start by saying Silent Hill is one of my all time favorite games, so when the news broke that Konami would not be developing the game I was upset to say the least. However I have changed my tune since seeing actual in game footage of the game and learning that Mr. Akira Yamaoka was still involved with not only the soundtrack but is also a consultant to developer “The Collective”. But, even with all that said, looks aren’t everything and hopefully they come though with a story line that lives up to what Konami has delivered thus far with Silent Hill.

Silent Hill 5 | HD Trailer
Here goes this weeks Playstation Store update. This week we get some nice goodies including like a HD Version of the Metal Gear Solid 4 Boss Trailer. Beyond the MGS4 stuff we finally get a Folklore Demo which has been out for a while on the Japanese store. There is also 2 more Heavenly Sword videos and a video for Free Radical aka the Golden EYE teams FPS Haze.

The Metal Gear Solid 4 train isn’t slowing down ONE BIT. This game is the reason to own a Playstation 3 PERIOD. This trailer is just as amazing as the one from E3 but this time we get a glimpse at what some of the boss characters will look like. Not only that the trailer lets us know that it will have a world wide release in “Early 08″.
For the moment the trailer is a Cam trailer, hopefully we’ll have some direct feed and HD links for you soon enough.
Now for some speculation…. all I’ll say is PSYCHO MANTIS????? What do you all think?

We have also scored some high res images of the bosses featured in this video. The squad name is beauty and the beast and low and behold the Psycho Mantis like character is in fact Screaming Mantis. Check out the screens below.
