Last month we had the review for Death Proof on DVD, and had said that the other half of what was known as Grindhouse in the theaters would be out in October in time for Halloween, well that time has come, Robert Rodriguez’s Planet Terror has hit store shelves and we have the review!

Its safe to say I’ve been a long time fan of not only the horror genre, but the old school exploitation films of the 60’s and 70’s. Oddly enough so are a couple of famous director’s named Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino (maybe you’ve heard of them). Well back in April they released what they hoped would be the ultimate Nerdgasim film their ode to the exploitation/double feature films Grind House. Well Grind House failed to excite the casual movie goers, and was considered a box office failure. Now in order to make more money off the film to make back the budget of the movie, The Weinstein Company decided to split the films for their DVD release, first up is Quentin’s film (which was actually the second film in the double feature). His homage to the bad ass car chase flicks entitled Death Proof.
