
Pixar never ceases to create compelling, entertaining animated movies, and their next one, Wall-E, just looks plain adorable. It follows the “life” of an automated trash collecting robot that has survived on what appears to be a trash filled post-apocalyptic Earth for hundreds of years, only to encounter a visiting spaceship that carries him into space, beginning his cosmic journey to find his true purpose in life.

Word on the street is that following 2008’s Wall-E, Pixar will be producing an animated feature entitled “Up” for release in 2009. Details are scant, but the storyline seems to be roughly inspired by the classic Cervantes book Don Quixote. The film’s co-directors Pete Docter and Bob Peterson were tapped for some info on the story.
“[A] coming-of-old-age story” about a seventy-something guy who lives in a house that “looks like your grandparents’ house smelled.” He befriends a clueless young Wilderness Ranger and gets into lots of altercations. Says Pixar: “Our hero travels the globe, fights beasts and villains and eats dinner at 3:30 in the afternoon.”

Growing up There was only 2 film triliogies that I held as sacred: Indiana Jones, and Star Wars (both which can no long be considered trilogies). I started to wonder what the Kids of this generation will hold on to as their great film Trilogy well look no further than Disney’s Pirates Of The Caribbean series. Directed by Gore Verbinski and starring Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow (a role that will no doubt be with him forever) as well as Orlando Bloom and Kiera Knightley. And on December 4th the final installment of the Trilogy is set to hit store shelves and we have the review for you!
