Bret Ratner + G.O.W. = Disaster

Well the a while back there was a rumor floating around that Rush Hour director Bret “I Destroyed X-Men” Ratner would be directing a big screen adaptation of Sony’s mega hit franchise God of War, well it looks as if there is some weight to this story, coming out of San Diego’s Comic-Con today buried in the press release announcement for Darren Aronofsky’s planned reboot/sequel for the Robocop series.

“David Self’s credits include 13 Days and Road To Perdition. He wrote God of War for Universal, to which Brett Ratner is attached to direct, and was a writer on Universal’s Wolfman currently in production.”

Well go cry in your pillows fanboys, maybe Chris Tucker will be cast as Kratos (lol)!
