Like a great white shark determined to swallow Roy Schnieder whole, Electronic Arts has begun what was almost inevitable: a corporate hostile takeover of Take Two Interactive. You might recall just a few weeks ago when EA made a bid to buy the company for $26 a share ($1.8 billion total), which Take Two rejected as an inadequate bid. Electronic Arts is will now be paying shareholders the same amount whether Take Two likes it or not.
Lets just hope that Ubisoft isn’t the next victim of the publisher eating machine…
