There’s some sad news today as Oscar nominee Heath Ledger was found dead in his Manhattan apartment today at 3:26 eastern time. Information surrounding his death have lead police to believe that he died of a drug overdose. Ledger had apparently been addicted to a controlled substance, but according to friends, was clean for over a year. The circumstances leading up to his death are unknown, but Ledger’s body was found naked, face down on his bedroom floor by a housekeeper. Ledger split up with wife Michelle Williams last fall and leaves behind a two-year-old daughter, Matilda.

This has me pretty bummed out… I liked Heath a lot, and really respected his acting talent.. plus he seemed like a pretty cool dude..

I recently saw on the news that it was an accident he was having problems sleeping and took 2 of his prescribed sleeping pills and still could not fall asleep so then he took some over the counter sleeping pill which triggered an overdose, The police say thats what they think happened at least thats what they said on our news channel. They said the find out for sure today with the autopsy (sp?? )

on another note i really liked heath ledger, its a damn shame…

Dark Knight was finished…. he was actually filming another movie for director Terry Gilliam.. he was in London till Saturday filming, then came home for some time off and, well, you know the rest… I betcha Dark Knight is gonna have a memoriam to Heath in the end credits..
I was flipping through the channels today and saw that Casanova was on… *tear*

i’ll be honest i really didnt know who heath ledger was untill i saw a knights tale. Now its not a amazing movie but i really liked heath ledger in it, and i’ve kinda come to respect the guys acting since then..

Same here… A Knights Tale was basically his claim to fame.. before that, he was relatively unknown.

umm sorry, while A Knights Tale was Heath’s breakout LEADING ROLE, he was on everyones radar before that when he was in The Patriot with Mel Gibson.
