Schreiber is Sabretooth

Here’s some new casting news on the Wolverine front… it was previously announced that Liev Schreiber would be playing a role in the upcoming X-men Origins: Wolverine film, though he was widely rumored for a while to be playing a young William Stryker. Well that has been debunked as its now been learned that Schreiber will be playing Anti-Wolvie feral badass Victor Creed! Schreiber is a great classical actor and I respect his acting ability a lot, so seeing how he portrays the character will be quite interesting. A while back he was rumored to be in the running for the role of Harvey Dent in the Dark Knight, which has since been filled by Aaron Eckhart. Despite the blah-fest that was X-men 3, I’m actually quite excited for this movie! I can’t wait to see what they do with Weapon X/Team X.. that will hopefully make for some kickass scenes…
