Paramount Goes HD DVD ONLY!

The news about Paramount and Dreamworks Animation going HD DVD only has been making the rounds today. Better late then never though eh? So basically Paramount has picked a side and it’s obviously HD DVD. They are starting ASAP with Will Ferrell’s Blades of Glory. They will follow with some of their summer blockbusters like Transformers and Shrek the Third.

This news sparked a swift reaction from the Blu-Ray folks which was handled by Fox and MGM. They have announced their fall lineup with well over 20 titles this fall.

Things are really heating up. Lets see how long Fox, Lionsgate and Disney stay Blu-Ray only.
