Yea, remember a few days ago when you were all hyped about Lair finally being released, and in just two weeks? Well, we were too. That is until today, when two titles we’ve been anticipating were pushed back. Lair, the Panzer Dragoon-esque combat game for the PS3, has been pushed an additional three weeks back to September 4th. Sony cites the delay on enhancing the community features of the game. With Lair and Heavenly Sword sandwiched between the releases of Bioshock, Medal of Honor Airborne, and Halo 3, its pretty clear that multi-platform owners are going to have to make some decisions about what they want and can afford to buy.

In addition, Turtle Rock Studio’s Left 4 Dead, the spiritual successor to CounterStrike, has been delayed into 2008. Though the game is playable by the public at QuakeCon right now the game just isn’t prepared for release just yet. Of course, this is Valve we are talking about, who have delayed the release of Half-Life 2 Episode Two for well over a year and a half, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise.
