Lair Is Gold, Shipping August 14th

In a slightly surprising announcement from Factor 5 today it was revealed that Lair, the highly anticipated dragon-riding game for the PS3, has finally gone gold and is scheduled to ship here in North America, with localized versions coming to Japan and Europe later this year. Of course since all PS3 games are region-free I can predict that import-export game sites will be getting quite a bit of business that week.

No word on a demo yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if one launched in the next couple of weeks.

Here’s hoping that Lair has an X-wing mode… seriously, we need a new Rogue Squadron.
