New Resident Evil 5 Screens Revealed

In a new set revealed to the world today, I can proudly proclaim that the question of who Chris Redfield’s femme fatale partner in this monstrosity that will be Resident Evil 5 is (most likely) over: it is Rebecca Chambers, star of Resident Evil 0 and co-star of Resident Evil 1. Besides her aged appearence, as the game occurs 10 years after the events of Raccoon City, the evidence supports this conclusion because, as Capcom says, the female character is one “who never escaped” in the previous games. Logically it is the most straight-forward conclusion possible, as Claire Redfield made her way out in Resident Evil 2 and Jill Valentine escaped in Resident Evil 3.
