
Don’t want to have to watch the press conferences for hours on end? Well, how’s about this: you go about your business while I do the work for you? Below are the press notes for Microsoft’s conference summary notes, which will be constantly updated as the show goes on. The same will be done for the Nintendo and Sony conferences, so take a gander tonight and tomorrow for the latest after the jump.

10:30pm | Stage set up. Four pedestals on stage, but one doesn’t have anything on it. New SKU?
10:33pm | Band plays the Halo theme live on stage. Pretty spiffy and catchy.
10:36pm | Peter Moore walks out on stage. Where’s the tattoo this year?
10:38pm | Peter reports all demos shown at E3 will be arriving this year.
10:39pm | Peter demonstrates Rock Band with a couple Harmonix guys, playing all four instruments. The girl doing Kareoke reminds me why I don’t like Kareoke, but the demonstration is awesome.
10:45pm | After Peter fails at Rock Band several times before Mass Effect trailer is shown. Game is set for a November release.
10:47pm | Peter spouts out sales numbers, saying that the 360 is outselling the PS3 2 to 1. Consumer spending on 360 games and accessories are selling 2 to 1 versus the Wii and PS3 since their launches.
10:52pm | Madden 08, Halo 3, and GTA IV will drive new game sales this Fall and Winter.
10:52pm | Game montage trialer plays, showing off a bunch of titles, PGR 4, Beautiful Katamari, Medal of Honor Airborne, and more.
10:55pm | Jeff Bell walks out on stage. He introduces Scene It, based on the board game, for the 360, which comes with a new controller. Oh boy!(/sarcasm)
10:58pm | Trailer for Naruto: Rise of a Ninja plays. Looks quite good actually.
10:59pm | Bell promotes the EA Sports line up. Reggie Bush walks out on stage and they both play NCAA Football 2008. Reggie kicks his ass.
11:03pm | Bell announces that they have passed the 7 million Xbox Live member mark, forcasting that by July 08 to have 10 million.
11:03pm | Bell starts talking about Xbox Live Arcade. He shows off premiere titles like Bomberman Live, War World, Sonic The Hedgehog, Wing Commander Arena, Track and Field, Space Giraffe, Super Puzzle Fighter 2, Marathon(!), a new Tetris, and much more.
11:06pm | Bell announces that Sonic the Hedgehog and Golden Axe are available to download on the Marketplace RIGHT NOW.
11:07pm | Bell talks about the Media Marketplace, announcing an agreement with Disney to bring a large amount of the catalog, all in high def, all available tonight on the Marketplace. All future Disney movie releases will be coming to the 360. Media Marketplace will be in Canada and Europe on this fall. The Eilte will launch in Europe on August 24th.
11:11pm | Shane Kim walks out on stage. Kim talks about this Fall’s line up, talking about first party and third party titles. Shane introduces a couple PGR 4 developers, who demonstrate the game, showing off the new bikes. Players can share videos of their races. Game is set for a September release. Trailer premieres.
11:17pm | Shane walks back out on stage. He talks about Lost Odyssey, showing off an english trailer.
11:20pm | Shane begins talking about Gears of War for PC. Clify B walks out on stage and talks about the new additions, including a map editor. The footage shown shows off the Brumack boss battle. He obviosly has invincibility on for himself, but not his partner. The game will be on XP and Vista later this year.
11:24pm | Peter returns to the stage. He announces that Sega, Eidos, and THQ have signed on for the Windows Live support service, as well as the fact that the Live Support service is built into the Unreal Engine 3.
11:26pm | Peter talks about the Games for Windows live service, showing off a Games for Windows trailer montage.
11:29pm | Peter talks about Call of Duty 4, showing off the new trailer that premiered last week.
11:32pm | Peter introduces some COD 4 developers, who demonstrate the game live on stage. The footage is incredible, showing off the ghille suit snipers in action. An online multiplayer beta for Xbox Live will be available at CharlieOscarDelta.com. HELL YEA!
11:37pm | Peter talks about Splinter Cell Conviction and its exclusivity to the 360.
11:38pm | Peter shows off the new GTA trailer, announcing that each trailer shown previously was filmed on the Xbox 360. Moore announces that two exclusive new episodes for GTA 4 will launch in Spring 2008.
11:40pm | Peter talks about the commitment of Japanese developers. Premieres a trailer for Resident Evil 5 for launch next year! Full trailer available on July 26th on Xbox Live.
11:43pm | Jade Raymond and co. show off Assassin’s Creed live on stage. All of it is entirely gameplay footage amazingly.
11:50pm | Peter talks about Halo the movie. A brief live action video shows off the potential of a movie. Its simply jaw-dropping.
11:52pm | Peter announces the Xbox 360 Halo 3 Edition console. Its green.
11:53pm | Peter goes over the Fall and Holiday release list. That’s quite a list of games.
11:54pm | Trailer shown for the Halo 3 campaign. Freaking AWESOME!!!
