Leak Reveals New Halo 3 Map

Published: Monday, April 23rd, 2007 By:Slackerchan

Well it wasn’t until several minutes into this leaked Halo 3 beta session that I realized what I was looking at. More than just the first user footage of the beta build and some fine displays of Mongoose control, the video revealed that the map was actually a redone version of the popular Halo 2 map Zanzibar.

Watch the video for yourself if you don’t believe me. Is it me, or will May 16th be the start of one of the greatest periods in Microsoft’s gaming history?

I’m sorry but Halo to me is not everything people make it out to be. I was hoping Halo 3 would make me a convert and jump on the bandwagon with all the other drooling fanboys… but I think I might be wrong. It looks like Halo 2 in HD. I know the game’s not final yet but none of this leaked footage is impressing me at all. The textures look like ass. Nothing about this looks “next gen”. Gears of War still seems superior to me. I’ll take Assassin’s Creed, Army of Two, MGS4 and Gears over Halo 3: Gaming Devolved…any day!

Ok, I own Gears of War, and I played the Halo 3 public beta, the Halo 3 Beta, was better multiplayer wise (i don’t know about campaign) was better than Gears of war multiplayer will ever be, there is more to a game than just graphics, the game needs to play well, and halo brings that too people

Anybody who values graphics over gameplay to the extent they wouldn’t play a really fun game because it isn’t as graphically impressive as another is an idiot.
