
Well, you knew it was bound to happen, and now, after well over two and a half years of conversion and development, PC gamers will be able to experience one of the highest selling console games of the last generation: Halo 2. Announced today on a Microsoft press release, Halo 2 will launch the Games for Windows Live service on May 8th, 2007. The game is set to be packed with everything from the original version and more, including new weapons and the achievements gamerscore system for the first time on a PC title.
The release also lists Shadowrun, set to be the first cross-platform online game for the Xbox 360 and Vista, as arriving in June as well as Uno later this year. Either way, look for a review of Halo 2 for the second time come May.
