Battlestar Galactica Game Announced

Fans of the excellent SciFi tv series, rejoyce! Announced today, Sierra Online, NBC Universal, and Austrailian developer Auran Games would be releasing a game based on the massively popular SciFi television series Battlestar Galactica this fall on the Xbox 360 and PC. In it, players can expect to engage in singleplayer and multiplayer games as either humans or cylons, encompasing many of the battles from the first two seasons of the show as well as original missions. The game will be digitally distributed on the PC and on the Xbox Live Arcade Marketplace. Voice talent for the game is not confirmed at this time, but it’s almost a shoe-in that many characters like Apollo, Starbuck, and Admiral Adama will appear in game.

No screenshots nor any additional information is available at this time. Though this game is not a full on retail game, depending on the success of this one, we may well see a full game released sometime in the future.
