So the nominations are out and while most of you only really care about a few, if any of the categories , there is one very important nomination this year. Martin Scorsese has been nominated yet again for best director, all I am saying is that there will be hell to pay if he is snubbed again.
There are some other interesting and well deserved nominations this year. Little Miss Sunshine is getting some Oscar love, I loved this flick and it’s nice to see a comedy get it’s due. I’d really like to see Abigail Breslin win for her role as Olive. This year we also have Monster House going up again Cars. I know Pixar has become the animation juggernaut that can do no wrong, but Monster House was simply the best animated film last year… no debate.
