How many of you have always wanted a Castlevania Movie and/or Anime?? I know I have… Such an awesome take on the classic Vampire/Dracula story. Imagine the possibilities? Castlevania could be the movie that Van Helsing wanted to be…. an awesome Vampire Hunter and his bloodline tackling the king of bloodsuckers.
Well, your dreams have been fullfil… er I mean your dreams have been squashed! Instead of waiting and giving this classic franchise the proper treatment that it deserved they gave it to one hackiest Directors in the game (pun…), Paul W.S. Anderson. Sup Konami??? Uwe Boll, McG and Stephen Sommers all on Vacation?
Don’t get me wrong Resident Evil 1 was tolerable at best. It was campy which would fall in line with most zombie movies. There were some terribly dumb moments, but I could tolerate it. However, everything else he’s done is far below tolerable.
God damn it…. With Halo on Hiatus will we ever get a good game to movie translation?
Enough of my rant on the director of Shit vs. Ass… whadda you guys think?

i totally agree, dude. if anderson fucks up this film… i don’t know. castlevania is one of my all-time favorite video game titles, one of the most exciting & intriguing franchises ever, and i don’t want to be let down. but looking at his other works, i’d say we’re in for a painful disappointment. what are you thinking konami?!
