Ladies and gentlemen, drop your air guitars. Activision’s CEO announced to their investors to expect the incredible Guitar Hero series of games to be coming to all next-gen systems. Though the terms are a bit loose, this big piece of news almost gurantees us turning up the stereo to 11 on Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and of course the Playstation 3.
In the meantime, be sure to catch Guitar Hero 2 this November for the Playstation 2.

i love the wii and will buy one the first day i’m able to, but i have to cast doubts on how a guitar game will be played using 2 very small peripherals. seeing as how no one would’ve given two craps about playing guitar hero using an ordinary controller part of the total shtick to guitar hero is the guitar controller itself; once you think about it, drumming, superb idea, drumsticks = wii controls, but the actual wii controller used as either strum or fret doesnt seem to fit very well, oh well, we’ll see.

i bet it will be some type of shell attachment like the light gun or something.
and just maybe use the motion controls for some type of special features.
