Following a press event today at Electronic Arts’ headquarters, it was revealed today by Valve’s Gabe Newell that the Half-Life series will finally be making the jump to both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Previously only known to be coming via preorder sku at Gamestop, this comes as a huge unveiling of content from Valve. The next-gen versions of Half-Life 2 will come packaged will all of the previous Half-Life 2 back catalogue content, meaning consumers will gain all the additions to HL2, including but not limited to everything that has broached the game for the PC. In addition, the installment will include both Episode One and Two as well as the much rumored and speculated Team Fortress 2.
