Nintendo E3 Press Conference

Xbox 360

Microsoft’s conference was unfortunately pre-taped, but there was TONS of news from the Xbox E3 event. So while there was no Min. by Min. coverage there was still plenty of news.

They opened up the show with Cilffy demoing Gears of War which still looks phenomenal.

MS showed off trailers from a bunch of it’s flag ship titles. They showed a teaser of their crowning jewel Halo 3, they also showed video clips of Fable 2 and Forza 2.

As for third parties they shocked everyone when they announced Grand Theft Auto 4 (GTA4) will be launching for 360 in Oct. 07 same as PS3, however the 360 version will feature the added plus of episodic content!!! Other notable third party titles included Blue Dragon, Splinter Cell

On the XBL Arcade front MS announced titles including: Contra, Sonic, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat. They also announced Lumines Live that will feature not only music but videos.

In the Hardware department we saw the Live Vision camera, new wireless headset, wireless steering wheel that will ship with Forza 2 and they showed some pictures of its HD-DVD drive.

They also showed off Live Anywhere which is basically Xbox Live that will span across PC, Xbox and Mobile device using your current Gamer Tag and achievement point!!.

Most of the first party games have trailers up and ready to download on the Xbox Live Market Place.

We’ll have more news and pictures soon!
