
Well, it looks like we’re in for more haunting. Monolith Productions and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that their very successful game F.E.A.R. is getting a sequel on both PC and “multiple next-generation consoles.” No specifics about which consoles it will be on (though its almost a dead giveaway), but the game will be given a staggered release, releasing on PC first before recieving console-specific overhauls for the console release. Due to an issue regarding the ownership of the title by Vivendi Universal Games and Monolith’s ownership of the characters, however, the game will have a different title but will retain F.E.A.R.’s storyline and begin right where it left off.
No release date has been given, but given the short amount of time between the release of F.E.A.R. and this announcement, we may just see something at E3…
