We’ve got a little more info than previously had on this CES-debuted DAP. The Sandisk Sansa e200 has a 1.8″ TFT color screen, FM Radio/Recording, voice-recording, a MicroSD slot, photo viewing, and video playback. The durable Liquidmetal backing is set in place to prevent scratching and adds durability. It supports PlaysForSure (Subscription-based music stores) and has a 20-hr battery life while playing music at a standard, continuous playback at 128 Kb per every MP3 file. This DAP is going to come in 2, 4, and 6 GB models at $200, $250, $300 price points, respectively. Its undoubtedly set to spar with the iPod Nano but has a hand up on it with out of the box support for videos (although you might have to convert some of your photos + videos with the included software). The new Release date is slated to be the “end of March.”
