Finally, here goes a real trailer.
Last time all we got was a video of the flash intro, but this is a old school tried and true studio trailer. Silent Hill is by far one of my favorite game franchise and by the looks of it they are sticking to the script and borrowing from parts 1 and 2.
The trailer looks amazing. Christophe Gans who some of you might remember from Brotherhood of the Wolf is at the helm and is supposedly a huge fan of the series. Watching the trailer you might notice a few familiar faces and places… you even get a glimpse of good ole’ Pyramid Head!
From the start Christophe Gans said he would indeed be using Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka, however a few weeks/months ago there were some rumors to the contrary. I’m happy to say that the trailer uses the some of the good old Silent Hill music we’ve come to love , notably Promise (Reprise) from SH2 and Hometown from SH3. Hopefully Yamaoka is still in the mix Silent Hill just isn’t Silent Hill with out him!
Kids… it looks like we may actually have an awesome video game adaptation on our hands !
BTW!!!… where the hell is my next-gen Silent Hill 5 info…. I’m talking to you Konami! (did I mention I love Silent Hill?)

It is not as visually effective or intensive as the teaser trailer, but it does show a lot more of the creepy psycho-zombies and pyramid head.
