First PS3 Launch Title Confirmed

There has been a lot of speculation since the launch of the Xbox 360 in regard to Sony’s reaction, but they have remained mostly quiet. No longer is this the case. Now that the 360 has launched worldwide though, they finally are firing their first shots of the next-gen console war with the announcement of the first PS3 launch title: Unreal Tournament 2007.

This is the second Epic title for the new generation and potentially could be exclusive to the PS3, as their other project, Gears of War, is a Xbox 360 exclusive title. Regardless, no release date has been confirmed.
