The Funtwist is basically your common flash-based DAP supporting MP3, WAV, WMA(+DRM) formats and featuring additional things like ID3 tag display (think iPod), EQ modes, FM Radio/Recording, Voice Recording and song lyrics for those who like singing along to feel their music. But the one thing that makes this little mp3 player stand out is its wireless switching - that is switching from you listening to your music wirelessly to receiving phone calls by a bluetooth link. It utilizes that system on a chip from sigmatel which increases the mp3 player’s efficiency; it also gets 6-hours playback time with the wireless buds and 15 hours with wired buds. It will come in 256MB, 512MB and 1GB flavors and pricing has yet to be revealed.
