Well well, it looks like the cat is out of the bag. One of the most influential people in all of Hollywood in the recent years is going to help helm one of the most successful gaming franchises in history. Indeed, Peter Jackson, acclaimed director of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and Fran Walsh have signed on to be the executive producers of 20th Century Fox and Universal Pictures’ adaptation of Halo. In addition, Peter Schlessel, Mary Parent, and Scott Stuber will be producing the movie and Weta Works will be creating the creatures and visual effects. The film will be shot almost entirely in New Zealand.
