LG Mult DVD Writer w/ Light Scribe

LG displays one of their newest offerings which is the 16X Multi DVD Writer with Light Scribe. Light Scribe is a new technology that lightly scribes (as the name implies) the disk’s surface with whatever image you like, with the restriction being the images’ formats, which need to be either JPEG, GIF, or BMP. This Disk Drive utilizes Defect management techniques which gets rid of media black spots and fingerprint defects. The drive supports DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW and DVD-RAM. It will be able to write to CD-R’s and CD-RW’s in the same fashion. It should Retail for about $90.
