Hey all, Slacker here! I’m excited to have been given the privilege of joining the team that Wreckk has assembled and I look foward to filling you all in on all the news I can get my hands on.
For my first update, I thought I might focus on one of the most highly anticipated pc titles of 2005: First Encounter Assault Recon, or F.E.A.R. The game follows the horrific story of a young recruit to the newly formed military unit and his teams attempt to stop a hostage takeover by an unidentified PMC, all the while surviving and trying to solve the mysteries of the haunting of the facility. The game is easily one of the most visually impressive and immersing titles seen on the PC since last year’s Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 and is sure to test your computers abilities. F.E.A.R. definately has game of the year potential in it. The game is scheduled for a mid-October release, but Monolith released the singleplayer demo of the game this morning at 10:00am PST. In addition, Monolith will be conducting periodic multiplayer multiplayer betas between now and the full release.
Download the demo and learn to fear dark corridors all over again!
