Lucas Film has officially announced the street date for the 6th and final Star Wars film. This 2-Disc set will be avialable to own on November 1st, 2005 in either Widescreen and Full Screen versions, the specs are as follows.
-Widescreen (2.35:1) and Fullscreen (1.33:1) mastered directly from the original digital source material
-Dolby Digital 5.1EX
-Audio Commentary by George Lucas and other members of the Cast and Crew
-A brand-new full-length documentary produced by Lucasfilm Ltd
-A featurette that explores the prophecy of Anakin Skywalker as the Chosen One
-A featurette that looks at the movie’s amazing stunts
-The 15-part web documentaries that were on Starwars.com
-Deleted Scenes (including a scene showing the creation of the Rebel Alliance)
-Also a two-level playable demo of Star Wars Battlefront II is also included on the DVD.
