On Wednesday, May 18th the WB will be airing the monstrous 90-minute Smallville season finale. As a bonus, they will also be showing an 8-minute preview clip from Batman Begins, which isn’t set for release until June 15th. DC Comics’ two biggest pop culture juggernauts, as close together as they can be until that rumored World’s Finest film is made.
“Superman and Batman have always been inextricably linked to each other, so it seems fitting that a show chronicling the Man of Steel’s youth give you the first look at the birth of the Dark Knight,” said Al Gough, executive producer of Smallville. “May 18 promises to reveal exciting new chapters in the history of these legends, and kick off a summer that fans will never forget.”
