Sin City Sequels

A scooper hit up JoBlo.com with news about two sequels to Sin City: Starting in February of 2006, Robert Rodriguez will begin shooting a second and third sequel back to back, with a hopeful summer 2007 release date (unknown if they’ll be released in close succession or if we’ll have a few months to stew between films). Another unknown is what books they plan on adapting for the new installments. There aren’t that many Sin City graphic novels left, so it won’t be difficult to narrow down the selection. I’m positive we’ll be seeing more of Dwight at least. Sin City gained a lot of critical acclaim during its habitation at the box office, and its sequels will surely have just as much steam behind them. I just hope they don’t follow the Matrix sequel paradigm.
