Looks like the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angle, Joss Whedon has signed up to take the DC/Warner Bros. character Wonder Woman and bring her to the big screen. Joel Silver and Leonard Goldberg are set to produce.

Whedon has written for shows like Roseanne, Buffy, Angel and Firefly, he has also written movies like Toy Story, Alien Resurrection and more recently his current project Serenity (based on his show Firefly).
