Well… seems likes it was only yesterday that I said to myself “hey why don’t I do a site about stuff i think is cool”. So I bought a crazy domain name, got me some server space from my friend Pete, installed MovableType and went to town.
Since then we have posted over 900 articles on everything from games, movies, dvds, anime and even TOYS, we’ve even thrown our hat in the review game!!! In that time we’ve gotten Anti-Crashed technology, a Commish and we have even been Seppukued (whatever that means). We have also gotten a core group of hardcore followers that visit us everyday and even a small group that post on the forums everyday.
The look may have changed, some of faces around the forums have changed but… at it’s heart the site stays true to what i initially intended, a news site about tech, games, anime and movies with out all the convoluted overly wordy crap you get at all the other sites. We get right to the point and tell you what’s cool, sometimes the grammar may be a bit off but whatcha gonna go???
This site has been a labor of love for me and hopefully for everyone else that contributes to the site.

geez you’re as much a part of the site as I am. You put a LOT of time and thought into the site and i really, REALLY appreciate it. You find news that I couldn’t find if i tried. You’ve also been a huge help in molding Gearcritech with me. Hopefully i’ll get to go to E3 with ya!!!
The Commish
You’re as crazy about DVDs as I am, and you’re a huge Uwe Boll fan (that’s just a joke everybody). You’ve made my job easier with all the movie and DVD posts and you’re recent contributions as a reviewer are the shit!
