Apple has finally released a new version of Logic which now is Mac only. Awhile ago Apple bought Emagic which spelled doom for any PC user that runs Logic. Logic is considered by some to be the best digital music recording software on the market.
Along with Logic 7 Apple also released 2 new Jam Packs for GarageBand. GarageBand is Apples all-in one midi production center, which i use and love. The Jam Packs add lots of new instruments and loops.
Looks like Apple is Really trying hard to regain the title it once held as The Computer For Multi-Media. They now have one of the best video editing suites with Final Cut Pro, and now they are corning the music market with Logic and GarageBand.
